Leading Parent Partnership Award (LPPA)
We are delighted to announce that Buckingham Park Primary School has successfully been awarded the Leading Parent Partnership Award (LPPA).
This achievement recognises our strong commitment to working in partnership with parents and carers to support our pupils’ learning and wellbeing. It has been an 18-month journey, and we would like to extend our sincere thanks to all parents, carers and staff who have contributed their time, feedback and support throughout the process.
This award reflects the strength of our school community and our shared belief that working together makes a real difference for our children.

Working with families and other partners
Through the Leading Parent Partnership initiative, we aim to provide parents with the tools and resources they need to engage effectively with their children’s learning. The LPPA provides us with a coherent framework to deliver effective parental engagement when children begin school in the early years at our Buckingham Park Primary School.
Asking families what they think
In October 2024, we circulated a survey to find out the views of parents regarding the school in terms of experiences, thoughts and suggestions. Many of the responses centrd around communication, increased opportunities to be involved in children's learning, including more events, and chances to visit the school to understand how they can support their children.
We have already formed a working party of staff and parents who are developing an action plan to guide our progress towards the award. We are working hard to listen and respond to suggestions, and we hope that you will begin to see positive changes in the coming weeks and months.
We invite all parents to actively participate in our community. Your involvement is essential in creating a positive learning environment. Together, we can help our children thrive and achieve their full potential at Buckingham Park Primary School.
