The Key Stage 1 play trail has been built providing wonderful creative play opportunities for the children. Many thanks to all those who helped the school with fundraising.

Many thanks to Ms Astle who gave an informative Maths curriculum session to parents. She will be repeating this session for parents who were unable to attend. The evening was very informative and the parents came away with some useful tips.

Over 30 new Reception parents attended our '6 weeks in 'coffee morning. Mr Tulley our Chair of Governors asked the parents for their views about the schools transition programme . The parents who attended gave  very positive feedback to the school.

Many thanks to Mr Goodyer who organised Big Draw event for all the children. The children took part in several Art activities during the day.

Our Year 5/6 children went away to Kent on a residential. All went well and they had a wonderful time.


The school has been presented with a Healthy Schools Award.


The rain held off long enough for us to hold our Cross Country competition. Medals were awarded to the first, second and third place boys and girls from each of the year groups, 3,4,5 and 6.


Years 5 and 6 had the very great pleasure of spending the morning talking with five World War 2 'experts' about their experiences during the war.
