Fair Processing Notice
All schools are 'data controllers' under the Data Protection Act 1989.
To meet the requirements of the DPA, schools must issue Fair Processing Notices to pupils/parents summarising the information held about pupils, why it is held and the third parties to whom it may be passed on.
Parents/pupils in reception have received Layer 1 FPN. Other parents have already received this information.
