does however make every effort to meet parental preferences where possible. Further

At Buckingham Park Primary School we aim to be inclusive and apply the principles of

Admission Arrangements.
Autumn birthday children who are five between 1st September and 31st December
will attend school full time in the autumn term.
Spring birthday children who are five between 1st January and 30th April will attend
part time during the autumn term and then full time from the spring term.
Summer birthday children who are five between 1st May and 31st August will attend
part time during the autumn term and then full time from the spring term.

Preliminary Visits.
An introductory meeting is held at the school during the summer term for all parents
of children who will be admitted during the following academic year. General
information about the school and its policies will be made available. Children are also
invited to come into school for two sessions in the summer term to join in with
activities in the classroom.There will also be a pre-arranged home visit by your child’s
class teacher before your child starts school.
